Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year
I am so very honoured to be the 2021 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year. Being awarded in one of the most prestigious and respected nature photography competitions in Australia if not the world, is a privilege to say the least. The exhibition has a high caliber of beautiful work from so many talented photographers.
Whale Vision Exhibition in Reykjavík
The Whale Vision Exhibition premiered in Iceland’s capital with hundreds of visitors stopping by each day at the first whale conservation exhibition organized by the conservation group “Hard to Port”. My work was exhibited with some of the worlds best whale photographers to help support education and hopefully inspire others to act for our oceans and their inhabitants. The 2018 award winning images from Travel Photographer of the Year go on display in London from March 28 to April 30 2019. My image of the Dusky Dolphin just before it took a breathe as it almost breaks the surface will be part of the exhibition.

This remarkable exhibition which I am proud to be part of, showcases the collaborative works of Danielle Harte James Tobin (Channel 7 Weather Presenter) and myself as we share our perspectives on this stunning location. One of Australia’s truly untouched paradises.
I have been visiting Lord Howe Island for over a decade and have enjoyed getting to know the locals, their beautiful island and the many talents they possess. especially the local photographers.

We’re for Whales exhibition @ Customs House Sydney
IFAW have launched their “We’re for Whales” photographic exhibition at Customs House in Sydney. A number of our photos of Humpback Whales feature on the massive digital wall on the ground level and throughout the exhibition.
Elysium Antarctic Expedition
In 2010 a team of 57 explorers from 18 countries, created this spectacular photographic and video record and conducted scientific research as a reference for monitoring climate change in the future. The culmination of a team of dedicated Photographers and scientist, the Elysium exhibition at the Australian Maritime Museum showcases some of the most amazing aspects of Antarctica.
Sony World Photography Awards
The Sony World Photography Award Winners will be exhibiting at the Sydney Opera House from the 24th October – 20th November 2011. This is a digital exhibition of all previous Australian winners located in the Western Foyer at the Sydney Opera House. My image of a Sperm Whale received a Highly Commended award in Nature and Wildlife category.
All images taken under a special permit granted by the Regiao Autonoma Dos Acores, Secretaria Regional Do Ambiente E Do Mar, Dreccao Regional do Ambiente.
HSI Extinction Denied
This exhibition showcases a number of the species the Humane Society international has managed to save from the brink of extinction. This was held at Customs House Sydney from September – October 2011 to help raise awareness for the many threatened species around the world.
Whales in Paradise
This collection of photography reveals a rare insight into a world we seldom see. It’s a world that creates thought provoking images, and is a world that needs our help. The subjects of these amazing images are the Humpback whales. In response to the Japanese’s decision to commence whaling, all money raised from this exhibition will be donated to Greenpeace and The Humane Society International.
